The landscaping process varies according to the size of the area, the land and the elements, in general landscape construction involves the following steps:

  1. Prepare the area: remove unwanted items, i.e. weeds, tree stumps or any structure that is going to be replaced. Prepare the ground and if necessary, prep the area so it’s level or a sloped surface required for the landscape.
  2. Construct hardscapes: man-made elements, such as pathways or retaining walls, etc.
Constructing hardscapes if laying bricks or concrete then allow several days for drying.
  3. Plant softscapes: trees, bushes, grass and plants in the landscape, spreading topsoil before laying new turf, as well as building flower beds and filling them with plants.
  4. Install accessories – Once hardscapes and softscapes are in place, it is time to install landscape accessories. Landscape accessories includes everything from seating and artificial turf to lighting and irrigation systems.
  5. Final touches – to both the softscapes and hardscapes. With regard to the softscapes, this includes spreading mulch, pruning overgrown plants and winding vines around garden arches or up fences.Finalizing the hardscapes is usually a little bit harder and can involve painting a newly built BBQ area, laying ceramic tile, installing an outdoor sink or oven and much more.
  6. Clean up – Last of all, we go through the whole landscape to double-check our work and also clean up.

4. TREES, BUSHES & SHRUB CARE

  • Prevent disease: eliminating dead and damaged branches because they are vulnerable to diseases and pests.
