TRIBUTE TO (LATE) MARK RICCOTTI- DIRECTOR

Mark Riccotti started Landworks from his home garage in Springvale. He started small with a ute and basic tools. Landworks has always been a family business with Mark’s Father, brother & wife working as part of the team. The first major landscape job was units in bayside Melbourne as well as maintenance for Retirement Villages, Pizza Huts and KFC.
Once Landworks grew, the base was moved to the factory in Braeside and daughter Faren joined the team.
In 2016 Mark was diagnosed with cancer and tragically passed away in September 2016. Mark was proud and passionate about his business. His family continue on with Landworks knowing that Mark is watching over his pride and joy Landworks Landscaping – growing like the seed he planted in 1988.

COMPLETION OF DISPLAY SUIT, ALEXANDRA AVENUE

Landworks recently completed landscaping works on this high end Display Suit, located on Alexandra Avenue in South Yarra.
The display suit overlooks the stunning Yarra river in an established area of South Yarra close to the Chapel Street shopping precinct.
During Covid-19 we observed additional protocols to comply with all regulations in an unprecedented time.
The suite was on top of a hill so the existing curved driveway was retained and pavers were repaired or replaced to match. Original trees along fence line were kept with smaller planting added all along the driveway.
Our client requested largest possible, advanced trees, including silver birch, sheoaks and gleditsia sunburst. Planted under and around the advanced trees, are renga lilies which will add strappy green foliage and white flowers will appear over the coming weeks.
Large river rocks were placed to create interest, colour and depth to the garden. Leading up to the swing glass door entrance of the suite we used a grey textured paver resembling a concrete finish. We are looking forward to watching this garden grow.

COMPLETION AT EAST BRUNSWICK VILLAGE STAGE 1

Landworks was proud to provide a large scale landscape package for Hacer Group at East Brunswick Village. EBV has been featured in the Herald Sun Newspaper with its wall artwork painted by various artists as well as for the many edible communal garden areas. With lemon, lime, olive or fig trees, and an array of herbs, the residents can enjoy, spend time and are encouraged to grow their own vegetables and compost in their 3 garden rooftops. There are also 2 podium level gardens, a garden outside the library and the ground streetscape with many edible plants including rosemary, society garlic and bay laurel. The green wall and rain garden is located between Coles supermarket and BWS.

CHARITY WORKING BEE WITH HACER GROUP
